It is a modular system consisting of Contracts, Programme Library, Media Library, Interstitial Library and three levels of Scheduling. iCM is easy to use as it employs all the functions such as drag-and-drop to speed up the daily actions that are required. It also has an intuitive user interface.
iCM can be used in a stand-alone configuration or be used with other IBIS products for the integration of video based processes including desk-top browsing of clips.

Options
iCM is available in one of two mainmodes of operation – for start-up channels whose requirement is to produce playout schedules, and those channels with more complex asset management workflow. iCM is supplied with the ability to run multiple channels in multiple styles of operation, from programme acquisition and rights management, through the entire channel workflow to as-run log processing. In order to provide simplified methods of workflow, the iCM functionality can be tailored to the needs of the user. If, for example, contracts rights management is not needed to produce on-air schedules, then that module can be “switched off”. These modules can be re-enabled at a later date, should the need arise.
