Cable and Satellite/Mediacast honours IBIS

Ranmore, May 2003: Live Tx from IBIS wins Product of the Year Award

IBIS has received the Cable & Satellite International Product of the Year Award for LiveTx , a new integrated broadcast information solution which combines metadata capture, archive interface and media ingest with flexible, live-to-air automation control.

The judges panel, which included some of the most authoritative names from across the industry, including Dr George T Waters, Neil Dormand, Simon Shute and Karl Rossiter, placed LiveTx first in the category for the best automation/centralization solution.

Andrew Winter, Marketing Director, who received the award on behalf of IBIS says, "IBIS is very proud to have received this award in the face of strong competition from other industry manufacturers. For IBIS to receive this mark of excellence by such a prestigious selection of our peers, is a real honour and a testament to the skills of all those who have been involved in the development and deployment of LiveTx."
