IBIS partners with Octopus
September 2007, IBC Stand 7.310: IBIS has announced that, In addition to ENPS, Avid, and other Newsroom providers, they now support and partner with Octopus, the innovative Czech Newsroom development company.
Although relatively new to the Newsroom arena, Octopus is recognised as a young driving force, particularly successful within Eastern Europe and India.
IBIS will be showing interaction between ServerPlay and Octopus via MOS, in which news rundowns created in Octopus and played out by IBIS ServerPlay automatically reflect any changes to the running order caused by late breaking news.
According to Andrew Winter, Director of Marketing, “Working with Octopus in this way reflects the strength in depth of IBIS capabilities and demonstrates further that IBIS applications interface seamlessly with all significant newsroom providers.”
